Samy would not have ever thought he would be booed in Malaysia openly. I think MIC and Samy in particular have taken the Indians for a ride far too long. MIC should be thought a lesson in the next elections?
M.kula
MIC president Samy Vellu was booed and publicly humiliated when he turned up to officiate at the Aattam 100 Vagai 3 (100 types of dance) performance at the Penang Internatikonal Sports Arena (Pisa) last night.
Sources tell me the crowd of 2,000-3,000 shouted obscenities at him including "po-dah" (the rude version of "get lost") and he didn’t get a chance to complete his speech. One source told me he was surprised to hear that the women in the audience appeared more aggressive in admonishing Samy.
Bear in mind, this was a cultural event and not a political forum, so it would have been attended by a diverse crowd of Indian Malaysians - who have now become politically awakened as never before.
The event was supposed to be telecast "live" by Astro Vaanavil (Channel 201) and beamed to India, Singapore, Mauritius and Sri Lanka. Apart from Astro, the media partners supporting the dance show were Sri Lanka Rupavhini (TV) Corporation, Jaya TV India, Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation and Media-Corp TV12 Singapore Pte. Ltd. So Samy’s image in the region would have suffered more than a little dent.
Earlier yesterday, Samy Vellu was huddled with Penang MIC division heads in a closed-door meeting at the Equatorial Hotel near Pisa, probably discussing the Hindraf developments. I gather that 40-50 outsiders, probably Hindraf supporters, were prevented from nearing the hotel during the day.
Such is the anger on the ground among Indian Malaysians that Samy Vellu’s political days could well be numbered. In fact, I would say he has become a major political liability for the BN - but then who else have they got in the MIC? Then again, it’s not any single individual that Indian Malaysians are upset about (though Samy is probably the focal point of their frustration in view of scandals such as the Maika fiasco) - it’s the whole system they are railing against: the sense of being economically marginalised and disempowered for so long (in the same way that many other Malaysians of other ethnic groups are).
If at the last general election, the MIC delivered 80-90 per cent of the Indian Malaysian vote to the Barisan, several Indian Malaysians I have met are predicting that this time the MIC would be hard-pressed to deliver even 10 per cent.
That may be wishful thinking - and an underestimation of the BN "machinery" and mastery of racial politicking - but all indications are that the MIC is going to suffer a serious setback at the polls. (It doesn’t take a genius to figure that out!) And that could spell trouble for the BN in a string of constituencies, especially in areas where the majorities were wafer-thin in the 2004 general election.
Meanwhile, Anwar Ibrahim has been hitting the hustings in Penang over the weekend, holding a series of talks and forums in the state. From what I hear, he has been drawing significant multi-ethnic turnouts at some of these events including a session with Malay and Indian Malaysian squatters in Bukit Gelugor who are facing eviction. He promised them that, if elected, he would try and do something about their plight.
He appears to be having some impact, working the ground. Have a look at this Malaysiakini videoclip to see the rapport he has struck with Indian Malaysians at this earlier rally in Jalan Kebun, Klang on 14 Dec attended by 4,000 people.
The BN has good reason to be worried. All of a sudden, cracks are appearing in the BN fold and the juggernaut appears to be creaking. Will Samy dare to show up at any other public event in the future? Stay tuned…

Well, it is now public knowledge among the Indian community that the MIC has been hoodwinking them and has played subservient politics with UMNO at the expense of the Indians is Malaysia. The MIC leadership under Dato Samy Velu have taken the allocations from the Government to enrich his cronies and left the Indians impoverished. The last 37 years or so after the introduction of the NEP has seen the Indian youths turning to gangsterism, thieves and murderers. So how can Samy claim that the Indian household income is RM3500. Where did he pluck these figures from??

Samy should be thankful that he is only booed. The worse is yet to come for Samy. If he still continue to hold the position in the government and in the MIC, for let’s say for another 28 years, I wouldn’t be surprised if the people, especially the Indian community in Malaysia, be throwing stones, rotten eggs, empty bottles and anything they can find at Samy wherever he goes.
Samy,
Resigned-lah. 28 years is too long-lah. It’s only do you good. And it’s the best solution for your dilemma. Save your maruah and face-lah. You wouldn’t want to be called ROTTEN INDIAN LEGEND IN THE MAKING, do you?

Bro Kula, my condolence on the demise of your mum. For Mr.Samy, I strongly believe his days in Indian n Malaysian politics are getting thinner and thinner. Every where i go and meet people they strongly disassociat their self either with samy or mic. Even the mic youths in penang has send their resignation from division level and branch but of course this will not be reported in govt controled media. My youth friends are strongly have make up their mind to whom to cast their vote in this coming general election. I can see a lot of changes in indian community, which i can say “political awareness” and samy cant survive this time. Either he drop him self from mic candidate list or face the music, loosing the sg.siput seat.

Samy Vellu Self Praising Himself As Champions of Indians
——————————————————–
Again u c, utter rubbish being said by Uncle “Konvict” Semi-Value, just to maintain as the Godfather of the Indian Community. He wants to be the Head of the Feudal System. I guess he will vacate the seat only when he dies.
My question here is why does he need to thank the government. The government doesn’t have any concrete evidence to prove that the 31 Indian people had the intention to kill someone. Furthermore, it is understood that the case has been interpreted very narrrowly on racial grounds. Face it, Samy Vellu, u have squandered the lives of many Indians.
1) You should encourage all Indians to stop working as labourers in the estate.
2) You should tell Indians to stop the habit of studying fetish courses like medicine, law and engineering and move towards investment banking, financial analyst or entrepreneurship.
3) You should make Tamil a compulsory subject in the shchool to avoid all this tamil school crisis.
4)You should make the MIC presidentship a fixed maximum 10 years post, to enable more charismatic leader than you who have vision and far sighted growth to lead the Indian Community. This is unlike u, a 1970’s trapped leader.
5) You should let professionals to run MIC or allow a separate division of professionals to play a significant role. Let me tell u the top 10% of the cream of the Indian society are running away from MIC, because it lacks transparency, independency and more of a feudal like system.
6) Stop bringing your family members into MIC. Vel Paari, has no proper education. How can he run MAIKA. Hire a proper CEO, pay him properly, and I bet u would get proper dividend.
7)Indians are at present divided between those who come up from national school and those from tamil school. From a competitive level point of view, tamil schools are perceived lower in quality. Samy Vellu should make sure, that a special committee is set up to make sure that indians from tamil school are given equal chance of obtaining places in higher institution.
8) Encourage Indians to take up more professional courses like ACCA, CFA, Chartered architecture, etc. Dont concentrate on medicine, law, and engineering.
9) Encourage Indians to buy stocks, invest in investment vehicles, IPOs, bonds, derivative, etc. Why is ur strategy so conservative? You ask them to invest in MAIKA, but the equity has dropped below the intial paid up capital. That means for over 20 years, there was no growth but mere losses.
Samy, please think of the future of the indian community. Sacrifice urself for the betterment of the new generation of Indians. You have plundered the wealth of the Indians due to your own personal battle with Subra and Pandidthan. Remember, Indians are not bothered of ur personal fight, we are concerned with our fight for the Community.

Samy Vellu is a hypocrit of the highest order. Just resign, and stop talking nonsense. You do not believe in accountability, transparency, and u speak utter rubbish. All your facts on Indian household is utter rubbish. Probably, your father did not teach you mathematics and statistics, that is why you are using your dick to answer questions and justfify indian pleas.
Some Mathematic Lessons for Stupid Semi Value!!!
————————————————
Assume, in a country, there are 10 Indians. 8 of the Indians are earning only RM1,000. 1 stupid politician, called Semi Value earns RM16,000. 1 rich Indian called AK earns RM100,000,000.00 per month.
What is the average pay for the Indians?
RM10,002,400/month
What is the average pay for the Indians excluding Stupid Semi Value and AK?
RM1,000/month
Now you see, the Indian average Income is only RM1,000, way below the RM3,4++/month that you bullshitted to the whole world. Samy vellu, you are a bloody double headed snake.
In the running of Maika, you let your stupid son to be a director. Does he have any investment banking or accounting experience? Is he a qualified and reputable CEO? He has conflict of Interest. He has his own business which is distribution of tamil movies. So when a good business opportunity comes, he takes it to his own company and leave crumbs for MAIKA?
Indians in Malaysia, you should learn to invest in wide investment portfolios.
1) Real Estates
2) Equities
3) Commodity Trading, Forex, Metal Trading eg. Platinum on stock market, bonds, debts, warrants,
You should also stop working in estates. Have Permanent Residency all over the world just like the Chinese. You can always come back to Malaysia on a fake Arabian Company because stupid Malays would kowtow to Arabs just like the usage of the word “Allah”. The word “Allah” has been used to refer God, before Islam came into the picture, but now Johari is proclaiming it that only Muslims can use it. Hypocrit.
I strongly agree with Uncle “Konvict” Semi Value’s opinion. He is very correct about what he said.
Indians, have to go global. We have Mittal, Ambani and AK, to look up to. If they can do it, we can do it. Forget about the government, forget about stupid politicians. We are 1 people, and the world is 1 country.
I wish Indians would go global just like what I have done.
