Yik Pooi Hong the 3 term assembly of Buntong has now been slated to contest Ipoh Barat.
Although the gathering was to show the MB that Yik has the full support from the people of Buntong and Yik calls himself the “Tiger of Buntong”.
Unfortunately the gathering could not have gone much worse that what happened when Yik started to speak. He was booed as soon as he spoke and dirty words were hurled at him. He was constantly referred to as Yik BOHONG and not Yik Pooi Hong. Yik was elected in 1995 and a hose of local matters have not been attended among them. Among them:
1) Kg.Chekkadi over 474 squatters who were residing at kg.Chekkedi were asked to move out in early 90’s and some 252 were given housing lot whereas the balance of 222 were promised in 1995 by Yik that they would be getting housing lots soon. It’s now over 13 years and these 222 squatters who have asked to move out from their land have yet to get the promised housing lots. Yesterday Yik stated these 222 peoples would be given the land soon but they did not believe him and thus booed him and shouted “tipu, tipu”
2)The lower income group were given housing lots around Buntong 3 Tambahan and Buntong 4 some time in the 1980’s. But the housing lots given was well known rubbish dumbs and the ground was soft. The MB and Yik visited the area and promised all of them that they would be relocated with compensation. To date the promises has not been kept.
The crowd became rowdy and filthy words were thrown at the speakers. Rajoo dare not speak. When the MB was speaking rotten eggs were thrown at the stage where. MB car was even damaged and police had to be called in to escort all the dignitaries back. This is how the people see the BN.

GOD will give everything to what bad people ( MIC & UMNO )want but will give up on them one day.
GOD will test every single corner on good people ( DAP )but won’t give up hope on them.

he is full of empty promises and no changes has happened. My family home and housing area in Buntong has not changed much for the past 20 years. it just gets worse and worse and it’s a sad state to go home to. especially to the people who are still living there.

YB you have my support against the “tiger” of Buntong. The assemblymen in Ipoh and the nearby townships have not been doing their jobs. Go YB!

Its good that Malaysians now DARE to speak up. Speak up for our rights and fairness.
But its sad that the whole incidents has been isolated. Nothing is said/written in the newspaper or shown in news channels. They only show and write bad stuffs of the opposition side, eg. Anwar the “Penari” and “Penyanyi”….
Did anyone recorded the incidents in video? It will be good to share and let more Malaysian knows about this? I am from Ipoh and will be voting for Ipoh Timur, but did not hear about this incidents. I am happy to c the Buntong folks shows their power. Let’s deny BN 2/3 majority.

Its good that Malaysians now DARE to speak up. Speak up and fight for our rights and fairness.
Its a shame that the whole incidents has been isolated from the peoples knowledge. There is nothing written in any of the local newspapers and neither shown any TV news channels. They r all controlled by BN. But with todays technology, news can made known fast and easily.
Did anyone recorded the whole incidents in video? Care to share and let more Malaysians know about this? I am from Ipoh and will be voting for Ipoh Timur. I did not hear anything about this incident. Thanks for making this incident made known.
Lets deny BN’s 2/3 majority in the coming 12th GE. Lets show our power by voting DAP and the opposition side.
