Sorry I was not up dating my blog for over a week. First after the results were announced I met my doctor who as usual gave me tablets and asked me to take a rest. I don’t have the luxury of time thus I had to continue my work. I had continuous fever and only to day it has subsided.
I have been visiting the wet markets and the last call was the central market today.
Today (19/03/08) is great day for me as the market people welcome us with an open heart and the same was a bliss moment after the general election.
The stall operators raised some matter for us to take follow up action on the following matters:
Lack of water supply for the shop’s
Electricity power point was not fixed at each shops
Inefficiency in cleaning the floors at the pork stalls; past 3 months was not well maintained.
Renovation defects at the main pipe which caused water leaking at the 1st floor.
We will take up these matters to the City Hall for them to take the necessary action.
But strictly speaking this is the job of the local councilors who have been sleeping!
